Character sculpt 2 - Gangster

 Character sculpt 2 - Gangster To start off my sculpt I used the base female model that comes with Zbrush. my main goal with this is to speed up my process I will eventually change the face to better match my character model but this acts as a good jumping off point.  The first part of the sculpt I created were the trousers the following method applies to all of the main sections of the sculpt. I start with a mask and then extract at zero thickness without a double sided surface. Next I then use the polish by features operation and then Zremesh the extracted object with it set to 1 to get it as close to 1000 polys as possible once that is done I'll do some minor tweaks and remesh it again. After that I'll apply the dynamic subdivision setting adding thickness  without actually confirming it this way I have some more freedom while keeping the original low poly mesh. Thumbnails and peer feedback

 Thumbnails and peer feedback 6 and 7 have a cool geometric look to them - not sure of their purpose though.  6 is fun - asymmetry works well- so is 2 and 5 think about how big these structures are by adding entries and exits High rise lab fits the futuristic vibe perhaps include some balconies Very half-life. How can you make this feel derelict In this video I go through different stages starting with exterior designs and then switching to interior and then back to some exterior designs. Although these designs aren't cohesive they will each influence me in how I will design my interior spaces and bring them closer to the warpath design philosophy. These are the props that I am going to use in my scene, the majority of the flasks are probably going to be used, number 10 of the containment systems will be used as my main reference when blocking it out and painting, number 10 of the mysterious objects will also be my main reference when blocking and painting. Environment Art Preproduction

Environment Art Preproduction I'm planning on pushing myself a little bit further for this portion of the project and I'm doing so by modelling and painting over both an interior shot and an creating and exterior shot of the hero building too, i am also planning to light each shot and create a turntable for the hero building along with the props. These are the first mood board images I gathered containing both interior and exterior views along with some ideas for greebles I could use to make the building more interesting.  This second set goes deeper into the type of facility I want to create consisting entirely of interior shot compositions, I think I'm going to make my lab setting more vertical with a hole above it providing a light source to frame whatever was being researched before the site was abandoned.
