As per my role as script writer I aim to assist my team members when it comes to writing up the dialogue and making sure it matches the story tonally as the main character progresses. The script for this game should be fairly simple - we have a goal in mind and only a few set paths for our character to follow; the choices our characters make are somewhat limited so we have to make the paths seem more engaging while leading to a certain outcome that doesn't seem out of the blue making, to do that we need to make our choices varied but somewhat universal. Of course as a script writer working with other artists in a collaborative manner I have to be receptive to feedback especially if it needs to change to benefit our games' overall narrative progression.
One thing that will likely challenge me during the writing of the scripts is characterisation - "Establishing tone and distinct character voices consistent with the story and world" according to Screenskills' definition - as a visual novel I doubt we'll actually include voices but developing a style of how a character would speak in a written format would be a solid way of creating unique characters.
